Sourced in Queensland, Australia - There is nothing like it in the world, on a remote sandy cay in the middle of the Great Barrier Reef. Surrounded by turquoise water, I wanted the viewer to feel what I felt. I loaded the Linhof with a roll of film, four shots, that was all I had. I stepped out, chest-deep in the warm water and set out to look out over the cay. The rising tide was lapping at my camera as I fired off the four shots, one ironic wave and I would have been screwed. The perspective felt so good as the Pacific Ocean swirled around me. You can feel it in the shot, the magic, the tranquility, the romance, it's a special place. I love it. Price for Galeria 10.950€.
